The staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The front desk helped immediately with suggestions and directions. The doorman couldn't have been nicer, and overly accommodating. Breakfast is included and it is top notch. To taste everything would make you overeat for the day. But food was excellent. The decor of the lobby is also gorgeous. Took many pictures there. Iconic heritage hotel for a stay in Lisbon

Heritage abound in hotel reception and comfortable large rooms. Close to Rossio Square and underground. Good choice of breakfast in colourful and peaceful dining area. Free teas, coffees, fruit, port with pastel de nata and biscuits. Small library and reading area ideal for relaxtion before the start of a hectic day....

Wonderful hotel, extremely helpful staff, bedroom a real oasis, comfortable, calm which great bedding. Right in the centre of things or an easy walk or tram ride away. Complimentary coffees and pastries in the afternoon. Lovely small pool in the basement with a gym which was great following a day's sightseeing. We have just returned today from a second stay in this beautiful hotel. There is a mini fridge, with water etc in the room, there's also a decanter with port in it on the desk if you want to indulge (we didn't). The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room very clean and beautifully decorated and furnished.
