From my arrival I found the staff welcoming and helpful, a kettle and more pillows were delivered to my room with a smile. I loved my room, which was spacious and very comfortable. Lovely toiletries too.

My wife and I arrived from Toronto via Amsterdam so were pleased to get our room straight away. The hotel comprises of two old properties joined together. We had a junior suite which was impressively large built into the roof with a sloping glass ceiling. I am not sure that the huge free standing bath tub next to the bed added to the appeal. Its a beautiful hotel but .
During our last night our neighbours ( 2-3 rooms around us) had a party. Slamming doors ( every few minutes), talks/shouts behind our doors, lady on heels walking forward and back. Party finished around 4am ( started after 11pm) . We didnt sleep at all.

Very well located Hotel in Krakow, just by the Old-Town Square.
Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience during my stay.
Reception was rude. They blocked an amount of money in my credit card just in case I spend something (but I didn't), and they made me wait to see if my room was ready.

First time in Krakow and after lengthy research we choose Hotel Stary for our 4 night trip. This is a beautiful hotel and first impressions were as expected. This hotel is in a first class location just off the main square, so within walking distance to restaurants and bars, around 30 min walk to the Jewish Quarter.
