It was our first visit to Krakow and my friend and I booked this hotel as it looked beautiful and was in a great location. We arrived at lunchtime after a very long journey with a 3am start and thought wow, what a lovely quirky hotel with wonderful character. We checked in and our twin room was ready. We were very excited about our first trip to Krakow and we arrived on the 13th August for 3 nights as a surprise birthday treat from my family to myself. We did advise that we would be there between 3-4pm but before 4pm we were being called by the receptionist to see where we was, luckily we was across the road, but it did make us feel a little bit rushed.

A beautiful, fairly small hotel withun walking distance from many attractions. The rooms are cozy with a lot of nice details, and the English-speaking staff is very friendly and professional.
A huge plus for arranging gluten-free options for breakfast on prior request....

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff.
Our room was quite basic but it was all we needed for our one night stay.
We were allowed to keep our bags at reception until our flight later on for no extra charge. Breakfast was included which was gresh and tasty.

As a solo traveller abroad for the first time I was somewhat apprehensive, but thanks to Martyna's patience answering my numerous questions before I set off, all went almost perfectly. Great hotel & location in the Jewish Qtr, v friendly & helpful staff. Just a short 15/20 min walk to the Old Town Square. Numerous bars & restaurants in the Jewish Qtr nearby this hotel, definitely recommend Starka for a quality meal...
