I stayed at Vavien Hotel for 14 day, just I would say location is perfect, near to Galata tower and Shishane Metro station, indeed the greatest part are staff, they are so helpful and friendly. Eventually it's perfect hotel with this price. Recommend,...

I stayed at Vavien hotel for 4 nights 5 days! I arrived at the hotel at 7 pm after a long day trip from buses to planes i was surprised thar my booking is cancelled because they werent able to reach my card! They rebooked the same room for the same price! After reaching my room and going to sleep i noticed that there is no electricity to charge my stuffs only lamps are working! They moved me at 1 am to another room ...

Located in a wonderful authentic and genuine area in the center of Istanbul,among warm helpful people ,a still preserved area untouched by ugly kitschy gentrification,this small hotel is a real paradise .The design and decoration are very trendy ,the staff is young and very friendly .The breakfast is generous and fresh.Beds are very comfortable,bathrooms are very pretty and fashionable .TV and fridge work very well.M...

Good hotel, but some defaults

The hotel was clean and the room was ok. The staff was helpful and nice.
The hotel is placed in a weird neighborhood, but we had no issue whatsoever. You can access the metro and tram pretty easily and you are near the Galata tower.
The breakfast was ok.
However, one issue is the noise: the room is terribly isolated from the inside, we could hear the chairs moving or our room neighbor snoring... Get hear plugs!

At first I was super scared. Because I arrived at 2 A.M, the street was dark and seemed horrible(my first time in Turkey). I won't say much, I just enjoyed my stay there. Clean room, comfortable bed, very friendly and welcoming staff. I loved them!! very helpful,eslecially Hakan!
