There's a huge amount of choice for hotels in Istanbul, particularly in this area, but I'm glad I picked this one:
- Ridiculously good location immediately opposite the Blue Mosque so you can walk to pretty much all the main sites (my room had a view of the mosque)
- Good value
- Friendly staff who speak good English so that makes it easier
- Close to public transport and parking

A most remarkable hotel. A genuine 1910 royal palace. Very atmospheric, located in the heart of the old historic centre, within easy walking distance of all sites. Well located hotel and great views. Be sure to book an upper floor with a Sea view and a balcony its worth the money! A lot of Tour groups stay here so its not always restful. But overall, its good value for money and a good location in Istanbul....

I have been to Istanbul 4 times in a course of 25 years and am going there again in November. I stayed in Sultanahmet last time in 2022 and I am choosing to stay there again. the location is excellent in my opinion and the staff was welcoming. The hotel is not Grand but, very comfortable and is conveniently located to all old town tourist attractions. The breakfast is good with plenty of choices.

Worst hotel experience ever, dont book here
Scammer team and outdated hotel , I booked for Seaview and they provided Filthy parking view, when I complained about it they ask me to pay additional 600 euro extra to have the proper Seaview room .
They refuse to cancel my booking even though I didnt stay in the hotel...
