Warning to Brits to not come here unless you want to get ripped off left right and centre.
The receptionist, who, upon realising we were British tourists whod just arrived in the country and only had TL, he charged 4000TL (115) then we haggled down to 3000TL. This is Istanbul. You can get a cheaper hotel stay for 3 star hotel in London.

Hotel is clean, safe and quite. Rooms may not be as large as one would like them to be, but that's not a real issue (you're in one of Istanbul's most vibrant locations, what's the point of spending it in a room?). Front desk staff (Hakan and Ahmet) are polite, prompt and very helpful. Breakfast is basic/standard; nothing fancy but it includes pretty much everythign you'd expect in your brteakfast. Came back for a week, this time with a toddler. I don't even know where to start..definetely not going back. We asked for a room change because the first we got was dirty. Second room was obly a little bit better, but we still cleaned it ourselves in order to be acceptable for a toddler. Sheets had holes, air conditioning did a crazy noise. Breakfast was not very good either....

A very nice surprise

I found myself in need of a place to stay the same day my flight to Istanbul was scheduled, so i wasn't hoping to find a nice place. I booked 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. The location was really good, i was aiming fo sisli area, the hotel clean, staff nice and the food great. Defintely staying here again...

I stayed there with my wife for 1 day. The room was nice and clean. Staff was really perfect. Location is good, enough close to nisantasi.
The breakfast was so nice. Everything was very fresh and tasty, chocolate cake was very yummy. And the breakfast saloon was awesome. A very cool ambiance. I loved it....
