Family visit to Istanbul
Travelled on 11/2024
Hotel is in a wonderful location and just a very short walk to a number of main attractions although we had to walk about 500 metres up a cobbled hill with our bags to get here. The room was sufficient although our bathroom was very small and cramped. However other family members had a larger bathroom so perhaps just luck of the draw....

Comfortable, cosy, and near to the mosque.
Travelled on 10/2024
The hotel building has been built and decorated in an impressive ottoman style with much attention to detail.

Front desk staff very helpful and Sevgi and Yusuf in the breakfast room and at dinner gave an exceptional service with a smile. The in house Matbah Restaura...

An Istanbul and Turkish experience of great hospitality!
Travelled on 10/2024
This is the place to stay if you want a true Turkish and Istanbul cultural, culinary, and hospitable experience! You can't get any closer to the Hagia Sophia than here. It is literally right across the pathway from the Hagia Sophia, and just steps away from the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and museums. And don't miss out on experiencing the restaurant, MatBah. The best meals we had in Istanbul are right here, along wi...
