lovely hotel in the middle of everything

The room was just a bit on the small side, but everything else was fine. Clean hotel, front desk very helpful, food was very good--wonderful fresh cheeses, yogurt, fruit and veggies at breakfast in a sweet room with a great view! It was easy to get pretty much everywhere we wanted to go in the European side of the city. Wonderful walk along the main drag to the market, with the trolleys rolling by for good Turkish...

We have just been to the Turkish GP with tickets and accommodation organised by [--].
The hotel we chose was the Taksim Select and it served our purpose very well. The hotel is situated in the main hotel district north of Taksim square with its shops bars and restaurants. Although this hotel is not officialy rated, it is considered by travel agents as a 4 star hotel. It is clean, quiet, nice. Rooms are small, as all the public spaces in this hotel. Spent 6 nights here, felt very good.
