Not a great experience at this hotel - the first room I was in smelled so badly of old cigarette smoke that I couldn't sleep. I changed rooms to the non-smoking floor and it was much better, but the hot water was lukewarm at best in both rooms, so ended up having a pretty cold shower both days. Enjoyed my stay here in NH Hamburg. Great facilities in terms of the sauna and steam. The gym was a bit limited, but other aspects such as huge variety of breakfast choices etc made up for this....

It is a pleasure to come to this hotel. It is a clean and uncomplicated hotel. Good food for breakfast and it can get busy, but pick your times.
As far as location, it is a small distance out of central city, but saying this it is more quiet than a central city hotel.
Easy public transportation to the city in 15 to 20 minutes. Taxis around the corner.

The check-in arrangement was a complete disaster. We as a group of 8 arrived at the hotel and checked in separately. First, the staff checked all of us into wrong room types. Then, when my partner and I arrived at the hotel and presented our reservation, that staff proceeded to give us room card which, again, led us to the wrong room type. Nice spacious and clean room and bathroom, easily accommodating the family, located on the main road with restaurants around and within a short drive to the city center....
