The rooms are spacious and renovated. The only thing that needs improvement is the pillows, which are hard and thin, and the breakfast, which is not as shown in the photos, the variety is very poor, they serve mostly cakes and sweet breads. This hotel was perfect for our 5 day break - it was central for exploring Florence and had an old school charm which added something special.
The week we stayed was incredibly hot and the air conditioning was a welcome relief and rest from all the walking we enjoyed. The staff were all delightful and made us feel really welcome.

The property is in a great location. The hotel has an old world charm and still uses an actual key to get into your room.
The room was a nice size, clean, and looked updated. The bathroom, however, was really small and the shower was almost too small to use. I will say that the bathroom was clean and also looked updated.
Breakfast was included in my stay and I was not a huge fan of the offering. It was just ok.

Hotel cancelled a couple of hours before we arrived. I was travelling with my 8 year old daughter. Absolutely shocking. Do not trust your booking at this hotel. I had to spend the first couple of hours on our trip searching for alternative accommodation ...

Don't book through 3rd pary here, the hotel will steal your money

Be forewarned, this hotel is very shady when booking a room through a 3rd party. I arrived on 9/14 and checked in. I showed my receipt that I paid Priceline for 3 days to Emmanual & Allessio. They said I was only booked for one night. I said no we are booked for 3. They said to take it up with Priceline. We were left to scramble and paid a high non-refundable rate to another hotel for the remaining 2 nights in Floren...
