Perfect location in central Florence, within a historic former Palazzo

We arrived in to Florence by train on a wet night, where after a short walk received a warm welcome and quick check in procedure. Our comfortable and very well equipped Deluxe room overlooked the Cappelle Medicee and was accessed using a small lift to the third floor.

Less than a ten-minute walk from the main train station, this hotel is within two blocks of the Duomo and many other sights. It is on a smaller street about a half a block away from the main action. Centrale was a great choice! We stayed there to celebrate my sister's birthday, and we usually prefer boutique hotels in Europe over the larger chains. Relais Hotel Centrale Firenze really impressed us. The staff was fantastic right from the start; Mr. Edigio welcomed us with a smile as soon as we arrived. Fantastic hotel - perfect in every way

This is a fantastic hotel - central location only about 200m from The Duomo - so safe - only ten minutes to walk to the train station - loads of places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes. Everything extremely clean - bathrooms, bed linen and literally all staff so pleasant - very secure within the hotel also. A very good breakfast. Would be our first place to stay if we visit again....

Totally disappointed! Staff was rude, except for breakfast folks. They tried to pull a fast one with rooms, gave us smaller brutal room then denied that. Needs a reno badly. Felt like we werent valued customers at all. This is not a 4.5 star hotel by any stretch. No views to speak of either....
