The photos on hotels.com does not reprenant all the reality of the hotel. Room smaller and uglier than expected, And different. For example beds were simple metal frames, like extra foldable beds .. bathroom smaller and dirty.
Not friendly staff. We arrived after having all our luggage stolen on the train. Told the person who checked us in. No comment at all not even a I am sorry to hear that or is there anything...

Believe the previous reviews from prior guests about mold. This hotel is INFESTED with mold and obvious water damage. It is noticeable when you first walk into the hotel where you are kindly greeted with the smell of sewage.
The staff is very kind, but this is an upper management problem. They are trying to cover up by painting over it and saying that they are remolding. The whole building needs to be fumigated. Bla...

Florence's Hidden Gem: A Must-Stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The valet parking service was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence....

The location was superb for experiencing Florence! The only complaint I had was the bathtub was way too high to get in and out of, and the caulk needed fixed...
