First time visiting Florence and we had an amazing experience. I chose Hotel Number Nine for its location to near by sites and the reviews were all great. We went with a studio room that had the most adorable balcony. I sat here happily ever day as the Italian sun is fantastic for my soul :) The bed was soft but firm, which was great. Great hotel in a central location.
Staff were fantastic. Saheed was great at giving us ideas of where to visit, east and drink.
Alina? was lovely at breakfast. Could not have been better.
Unfortunately we didnt use the spa.
Highly recommend this hotel....

OK but Definitely not a Five Star Hotel

This shows up as a five star hotel and it definitely is not. It is an OK spot with a terrific location for first time visitors to Florence as right by the Duomo, walking distance to the train station. With one or two exceptions, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a bit eclectic and dated. It is fine if the price and expectations are appropriate....

Nice rooms, excellent staff

We reserved 2 Deluxe rooms at the Hotel Number Nine. The rooms were clean & spacious, the lobby area well designed. The staff was helpful and courteous. The breakfast was excellent and they even prepared breakfast boxes for the morning we departed as it was very early and the breakfast service was not open yet. Would highly recommend....

What can I say.WOW. The location is superb within short walking distance to everything you could need. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we had a minor medical need and they called and arranged a doctors appointment and we had one in fifteen minutes (maybe our NHS should take note!). The hotel is stunning and our room was beautiful, it was our honeymoon so we have a lovely note and bottle of champagne waiting...
