While this hotel is convenient to the train station and Mercato Centrale, the rooms are small, the lighting was terribly dark and oddly placed and the bathroom tiny. Worst of all was the lack of hot water we had in the bathroom. It is easy to get overwhelmed by the choice of hotels in a city like Florence. It was this difficulty that drove us back to a travel agent for our trip. Thank goodness we did as this is the place I was hoping to find. It is central to all we needed, train station on arrival, all the major sights and lots of choices for places to eat.
