Their ranking of 3.5 star is too generous. They claim to have dry cleaning service but they do not have that or laundry service. Its self serve down the street. Our room safe did not work. Our hair dryer stopped working after 30 seconds because it was too tiny and overheated. They put the toilet underneath the bathroom sink and bidet next to door. Basically you eat sink when going bathroom. Shower stall is only for s...

Pleasant city centre stay at Hotel Galileo

Excellent location within walking distance of train & bus stations as well as main attractions. Large family room with a/c that was very welcome during our stay due to very high temperatures. Welcoming and helpful staff both at reception and at the breakfast room. More than adequate continental breakfast choice served by pleasant and attentive member of staff....

Great Hotel for The Price

The hotel is updated, very clean and nicely appointed. The staff is really great - friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The hotel is near the Santa Maria Novella Train station. There are many dining options...check out the Mercato Centrale. The street is very busy, and can be noisy, but the room was pretty quiet....

Rude staff and a dirty hotel.

ive stayed at close to 100 hotels in all my travels and this is by far the worst hotel ive ever been to. I honestly wanted our vacation to just be over early so we could get out of this hotel. We booked a larger room that said it included 3 bed, we got 1. They refused to move us to a larger room despite that being what we booked. The hotel is dirty, the room is tiny and broken down, and the staff is extremely rude....

I am currently here now and the area is amazing. The hotel is clean but upon check in I was only given one key that is required to enter into a slot for the lights and AC. I went downstairs to ask for bucket of ice and was told they didn't have any which was disappointing. The next morning I came down and requested another key because we were only given 1 key at check in which was odd because it is 2 of us. The g...
