Nice hotel across from train station

This hotel is right across the street from the Florence train station. Not too much to see in the immediate area but just a block away there are many restaurants and shops. The rooms were very nice. Breakfast was very good. The lobby and gathering places allowed us to get out of our rooms and visit. Staff was friendly and helpful....

Had an awesome time in Florence. The hotel grew on us, not noisy from station, lovely cool rooms, really clean & fresh sheets daily. I really liked the buffet breakfast, well organised, good early & late, great coffee & fresh bread, masses of variety.No armchair in room, small TV but in florence you're not going to spend masses of time staying in your room, everything worked really well, 24 hr reception....

Enjoyable stay

We stayed here for 6 nights. It was a 4 min walk from the train station, so perfect for us. The room was spotless, it was cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. I had read the reviews so was dreading the noise but we were on the 4th floor facing away from the station, we had a beautiful view of the hills. Noisy!!

Stayed here for 3 nights- it was very noisy! Unfortunately our room was facing the busy main road with trams going up and down from about 5am but even if we had another room, its really noisy. We could hear the room next door flush their toilet, take a shower and upstairs clomp around their room.
The room however was clean, breakfast was good, very close to the station and only 10-20 mins walk from all the sites. N...

Not the best experience
While being clean, the hotel is outdated, the breakfast is poor, the storage of your baggage has no safety at all, and the feeling is actually of a 2 stars hotel
Of course, if the price would be low, I could understand that, but it was not the case at all....
