A great choice near SMN train station

I needed a hotel with an elevator and near the SMN train station. Hotel Cosimo de Medici was perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, with a large modern bathroom (shower only). The breakfast room was pleasant, with a nice selection of items. A restaurant recommendation led to a memorable meal. My daughter and I loved this hotel. Very spacious room with everything we needed. Excellent facilities and a great base for experiencing all that Florence has to offer.
All the staff are amazing friendly and helpful.
100% we will be returning and highly recommend this hotel for service and convenience giving great value for money.
It is a very charming place with character and we would not have enjoyed any where else...

Sewage smell and waking up in the middle of the night from noise, badly isolated windows. Rude hotel manager.
We were waked up at 5 in the morning by noise and a foul intense smell from sewage. It persisted with the estimated 85 dB noise until 545am. Wonderful hotel near station

The best hotel we have stayed in during our tour of Tuscany. So modern, clean and comfortable and very conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the station. Staff were lovely and gave us an upgraded room. Great value for money and really couldnt fault it! Everything we needed. Lovely pizza restaurant just across the road. Flying visit but couldnt be happier with this hotel and highly recommend....

Horrible way to end a beautiful trip

Based on the website photos, we expected a beautiful hotel with charming historic elements. There were historic elements such as the staircase and a few windows, but it was overshadowed by the lack of maintenance and rugged appearance once we arrived. The rooms are less than basic and the elevators were just scary. There was nothing beautiful about the hotel.
