Great Stay in Florence

My daughter and I have just returned from a 4 day break n Florence and we stayed in the Hotel Albani.
The hotel is one of the best I have stayed in, first class staff, excellent room, great breakfast.
One tiny issue is the lack of charging points (USB) for phones etc and the lack of English language TV channels.
These were very minor issues.
Beautiful room and really comfy bed.
I hope to return to Florence again one...

This is a great 4 star hotel in a very central location, literally a few hundred feet from the central train station yet not noisy or any of the usual issues with that type of location. Rooms and services are as you'd expect for a 4 star restaurant. One real issue is no real bar or restaurant, just breakfast really but so many bars and restaurants within a few blocks that we didn't miss one...

We enjoyed our stay here and the staff were very quick to respond and resolve a couple of very small problems that we hadnew batteries were required and we were having trouble with our power adapter. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the hotel is only a block away from the train station. Lots of nearby restaurants, shops, taxis and other services....

Pros: location to the train station- less than a 5 minute walk; staff was friendly and helpful; tastefully decorated overall, also some rooms have nice balcony spaces. Plentiful choices for breakfast

Bad hotel and very unfriendly and unhelpful staff

The hotel staff is extremely un resourceful. Wanted to go see David and asked for suggestions and help, The young man working in the afternoons claimed that everything is booked for few days out. I asked for suggestions on what other options are available, he was very unhelpful.
The hotel does not have WiFi. They use this cheap hotspot which I was never able to connect. Asked for help, they just shoved it away.
