Quiet, comfortable hotel in the heart of Souq Waquif

I stayed in the Al Mirqab property. The location is ideal, in the heart of Souq Waquif. Closing this hotel was key to my enjoyment of Doha, otherwise I would have missed out on the cheerful, bustling vibe of the area in the evening. This was especially so since I was travelling solo. If you must be in the Souq then it is fine to be there, otherwise you can find bettet hotels. The staff are friendly....

3 star at best very dated.
Pros :
Proximity to Souq
Golf buggy transport
Close to metro
Friendly staff willing to advise on local area
Cons :
Very dated
No really reception doesnt feel special
Awful pool only 6beds for 8 hotels bar closed all very tatty
Definitely not 4 star 3 at best...

I recently stayed here, expecting a five-star experience, but was disappointed. First, theres no reception desk,
Additionally, the luggage trolley was old and damaged.
Overall, the hotel lacks the basics youd expect in a five-star establishment, and I wouldnt recommend it for those expecting true five-star service....

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have arrived late to the hotel around 11:45pm after a long day and was hoping to have rest in a 5stars hotel. However, i was surprised that they gave me a room that isnt cleaned or ready!
Im attaching pics showing that Even the bed wasn't prepared! And as i have booked my stay through booking.com they have contacted the hotel to either solve or compensate and refund my money but no response fro...
