Very stylish, great service, Eline and Tim particularly were very helpful. Breakfast was good, decent coffee too. My only thing would be the rooms are not particularly made to relax in and the shared tea and coffee room didn't work for me. Add a nespresso or similar and it's a 5....

Ruby Ella - A Quirky Gem in the Heart of Cologne

We had a fantastic stay at the Ruby Ella! The hotel's quirky industrial style with a music theme is both unique and stylish. It's the perfect place to soak up the festive atmosphere of Cologne's Christmas markets.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We especially want to thank Tim for his warm welcome and excellent service.

Avoid this hotel.

1. You cannot call the reception from your room on your cell and there is no phone in the room. There is no reception except someone at the bar. You have to sign in on a computer. They asked me if I wanted my room cleaned or a voucher for a drink. I said please clean my room. The person at the bar walked me through the sign in.
When I came back my room was not cleaned and I was told at the bar that I somehow did...

A real gem and extremely cost worthy. What a small nice hotel this is with such extremely friendly staff. So helpful and sitting in the lobby bar inspires so much and you really feel you welcome to this place. Efficient as well and so friendly in any communication via e-mails before and after. Highly recommended and what a cool atmosphere of the whole place. Dont miss this if in Cologne...

I would gladly recommend the hotel everything is lovely and great , rooms , services, food and staff are amazingly friendly and helpful
