Just returned from our visit, but wouldn't recommend this hotel.
We arrived early, and left our bags whilst we went to visit Xmas markets. Told we could check in at 3pm. After an early morning flight, we were tired, and returned to the hotel at 2:40pm, to be told our room wasn't ready yet. We waited in the lobby and tried again about 3:10. Told by a very loud little man that they don't start cleaning until 3pm !!!! ...

On arrival it seemed like a perfectly nice hotel, conveniently located for what we had planned. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time and would have normally just stashed our bags and gone off exploring. Room perfectly fine, nothing special but nice enough. Website and confirmation email guarantees room ready at 3pm, yet upon arrival we were told it wasnt ready. We waited almost an hour before enquiring again, and being told the room we wanted was the only one of its kind and had still not been done, so we would be waiting another 10/15 minutes. Our stay in this hotel was perfect in every way. Every member of staff was both professional and friendly. The room was perfect. There were several little touches in the bar and reception which made our stay a fabulous experience. We will certainly look out for this hotel group again. Thank you...

Staffing levels inadequate to deal with peak capacity.

Visited during Christmas Market period when hotel appeared close to capacity. Restaurant inadequate for breakfast service - both in terms of size and availability of staff. Rooms not always serviced timely. Put these issues right and the hotel would be a good one, which the Manager acknowledged....
