We stayed here in December for 3 nights to visit the Christmas markets and city sights.
The hotel is well located for all markets and places of interest.
It is located in the riverside.
The room we were allocated was a large room with the view of the river, and yes the bathroom shower and sink was in the main room but we thought this was a quirky touch and it had privacy curtains to separate this from view of the mai...

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Xmas markets and the location was really good. A 10-15 minute walk to the most central markets and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was on the snug side with a strange see through shower cubicle which you had to draw a curtain over for privacy! Otherwise, room was clean and the beds comfortable. Just got back from a 3 night stay at this hotel, the room we were allocated was on the top floor,there wasnt a number on the door. The room looked nice enough until we saw the bathroom area , it was all open plan with NO shower curtain , the toilet was separate but you had to come out to the sink to wash your hands also the sink had a crack in it and the plug didnt work properly. Very disappointing given what the website had promised.
The single room (214) was the smallest I have ever seen - I think prisoners have bigger rooms but they don't have to pay 170e a night for it. The bathroom was equally small and very badly designed, the sink tap didn't work fully as it had been badly fitted. The layout was so bad I couldn't reach the sink. Really basic towels. Hotel was nice , very clean , nice comfy bed , housekeeping were very good , reception team were nice , ideal location, cologne very lovely city , would recommend, can not comment on food or facilities at the hotel as didnt do either , just head right out of the hotel towards the river then left follow it along and you are right in the old town , ice bar not to far away would recommend a trip there also....
