Well located hotel from which to explore Cologne

We were spending a weekend break in Cologne, primarily for the Christmas Markets and selected the Lindner Am Dom hotel due to it's close proximity both to Cologne's Cathedral / Main shopping area/ Old Town / Restaurants and of course the Christmas Markets. We got a great deal for a two-night stay through the Hyatt website, which was significantly cheaper than on-line booking platforms.

Went for business travel + visit the Christmas markets in Cologne. Location is perfect being few minutes away from the Dom and the main station.
However, my room did not have wifi reception.
Asked staff for help because I needed to work at night. Staff was very helpful, but they were not able to help. Got a different room the 2nd night, but still didn't get signal (got 1-bar for a little bit then dropped off). Wi...

Nice clean hotel , rooms clean and comfortable, the fridge was stocked with a few bits which was a nice touch and not too expensive
Friendly staff and welcome
Breakfast plentiful and very good
Location is pretty bang on a matter of minutes to walk to the centre...

Decent hotel

Lovely hotel, nice rooms and the pool was good. The fitness area was also pretty big and decently equipped.
The check in staff was pretty rude and not very welcoming. They made a few mistakes which can occur, but their whole attitude about it was poor and non apologetic....

Lindner Koln Central Station

5 minutes to the central station. Clean, large room, friendly staff, quite location. First time stay at Lindner and will stay more in Europe....
