Christmas Market Stay

This hotel has outstanding service, large clean and comfortable rooms with inside amenities. It is very close and I mean very close to the Christmas markets, you literally walk out the door to the right and walk and you are in one. Very good and safe location. I would not hesitate to stay here again....

We spent four nights here on a visit to the Christmas markets. It is perfectly located to easily access most o& 5h3 markets on foot. It is also with walking distance of the Cathedral.
Th3 rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is a standard hotel buffet with selections of cereal, fruit, meats and cheese, bread and hot food. Ample seating within the breakfast restaurant....

Appalling service

We upgraded our room on check in as it was my birthday getaway. I need to keep medication and drinks cold. When we got to our room the fridge did not work. Advised reception who let us know they would look at it. When we got back after a few hours nothing had been done so rang down to be advised they would come and have a look. Still nothing so rang up again to be told the fridges are too old to work and they are jus...

This hotel is a little like Mary Poppins being Practically Perfect In Every Way and I say this for the following reasons:
1. Location. It's in the centre of Cologne only minutes walk from the main shopping area and sights
. If you're in the city for Christmas one of the markets is on the doorstep with the others only between 5 and 15 minutes walk away. It's around a 20/30 minutes cab journey from the airport.

City hotel at the perfect spot if you like to do shopping or going to 1 of the many Christmas markets
Breakfast is good, rooms are nice.
The hotel bar has a nice selection of drinks.
Definitely a good quality for the price. It's our second visit and for sure we will come back again....
