Backpackers delight - stay elsewhere

This hotel is for the budget travelers - rude service from the second we walked in which made it worse.
Huge queues to check in - and then greeted by rudeness and insolence.
Rooms are cheap and extremely dated.
Breakfast is like a feeding frenzy - and good was a poor.
Have never stayed in back packers accommodation but assuming this is similar.
Could only bear it for one night then cut our trip short.

I have stayed in this hotel several times now in recent months. It is an excellent place to stay, bang in the center of Budapest, very well connected to the whole city by public transport. The lobby is very pleasant. The rooms well appointed, and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. The staff for extremely efficient and helpful. Overall, an excellent place to stay. ...

Confirmed booking with no allocated room

My current stay at this hotel is being a nightmare. Upon arrival, the hotel's system was down, and my confirmed reservation couldn't be located. The room I was eventually assigned had only a double bed, leaving my child without a place to sleep. Worse yet, both rooms were unclean, with dirty toilets and overflowing bins. Staying at the hotel was a very pleasant experience! The hotel is situated in a very convenient location on Váci Utca. Its about a 3-5 minutes walk from Vörösmarty tér M1 Underground station.
They serve a good breakfast. The staff were also very helpful!
I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Budapest!...

This is as centrally located as you can get in Budapest. Its a short walk to buses that will take you all over quickly and efficiently. Be sure to buy a very inexpensive transit pass - there are also trams and a subway. I received a room upgrade with my Accor silver status (thank you!) and it was spacious and lovely.
