Money missing from the safety box..

We stayed 3 nights. Before check out we opened the safety box and found that 50,000 JPY was missing from my husbands wallet. We claimed to the front desk but they said unless we cant prove that the amount they cant do anything..
Fist experience lost from the safety box.
Also the cleaning was not done properly. They should vacuum the room. Found many cigarettes outside the balcony. The towels were very poor.

Location is awesome and near a lot of public transportation and quite a few monuments, that allowed us to go everywhere in the city easily.
overall it was a good experience, breakfast was very good, great room space and with cold, having room floor being warmed is a nice touch.
nevertheless the room needed some maintenance, towers need an upgrade and cleaning could be better...

I booked a 4 night stay for my mums 60th birthday. We were desperate to see the Christmas markets. The hotel was in the perfect location, we was able to walk to visit the markets, we also visited parliament and shopping centres to name a few! The day ticket transport is super easy to figure out, the staff at the hotel did help up with this!

Marmara Hotel Budapest was very nice. I felt very safe here (23 year old solo female traveller). Comfortable hotel and very welcoming staff. Convenient location in the middle of the city but still quiet at night for a good nights sleep. Very clean, nice decor. Booked my taxi to the airport for 5am flight through the hotel- very comfortable convenient and easy. Thank you for a great stay!...

At the time of leaving the hotel we were very angry at the way in which they treat the guests, assuming they treated us the same way as everyone else. I waited to write a review to calm down. We booked a suite but it was really one room split into 2. The air conditioning did not work and it was hot for September.
