The intercontinental was a very professional hotel with courteous and knowledgable staff.
All the team did their best to make my stay wonderful, including a free upgrade to the room facing the river.
Food, drinks and service was fantastic and very professional.
All in all, a perfect stay, absolutely luxurious hotel and I appreciate the staffs efforts.

We stayed four nights here through New Year's Even and departed New Year's day. This is a wonderful hotel. The service was good and the location was excellent. The hotel is right on the Danube River, on the Pest side of the river, and just steps away from the Chain Bridge to get to the Buda side. Nice, comfortable hotel. Plenty choice for breakfast and fantastic view of Buda Castle from the hotel bar. The room was quite small but very clean. Many tv channels were not working. Unfortunately, we didnt have a river view. Its about 10 minute walk from the main area. Concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable....

We recently traveled with our family, a group of 8 adults, across Europe. During our trip, we decided to visit Budapest and chose this hotel because of its central location.
The Bellboys were very helpful, assisting us with our bags and parking the car, which we greatly appreciated. However, the receptionist, Alexandaria, could work on being more polite and welcoming to guests.

River rooms have great views, but otherwise it is challenging to see how this hotel can still claim the IC brand. It does IHG no favours by doing so. The fact that both tour groups and airline crews are staying there tells you that what should be a 5 Star experience, and isn't these days.
