We were expecting a newly renovated hotel as stated however what we were left with was far below the three star standard. Throughout the hotel the decor is dark and dated and the room given to us had lots damage. The room was constantly warm however smelled strongly of cleaning products that lingered. The stairs here are very narrow and breakfast choice minimal- bring your own if you have any intolerances. However fr...

On arrival, a really nice chap to welcome you on reception. I was on the 2nd level and the stairs are very steep and narrow. This could pose a problem for the elderly, no lift ! The room was quite dark and felt claustrophobic, I did see other rooms which were much lighter,I was in 207. The bed was quite comfortable but I could hear next door chatting away.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Good location for the tram system and for the buda side. Breakfast was plenty and tasty. Views from the hotel are amazing. The only downside is the rooms are tiny but it is a boathotel after all and for us it would of been nice to have a bar and a restaurant for the evening. Staff are all friendly and helpful all in all we enjoyed our stay in Budapest and Margaret Island is a little...

Had a great trip. Location is amazing and staff are so friendly and helpful. Uses the hotel as a base and worked perfect. Welcomed with a bottle of water each. Room has a tv with local channels and a fridge. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to eat. Room was small in our cabin but only used to sleep and shower which worked fine. Only down side only 2 plug sockets in the room....

Grand Jules for the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2024

Stayed here in a twin room for 4 nights whilst at the F1 Hungarian grand prix with 16 year old son. Quirky place. good location for all transport links on the Buda side of the city. Walking distance to supermarket and some restaurants/cafes.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and beds, although quite small, were comfortable and room was serviced every day with fresh towels.
