We stayed for two days as a Viking Cruise extension. We enjoyed the friendly staff at the spa, and loved the opportunity to eat breakfast in the stunning New York Cafe. We noticed the long lines waiting to access the Cafe, and were so fortunate to be able to enjoy our breakfasts in this stunning location. This must truly be the most beautiful Cafe in the world. Mark the bar keeper is also a goal keeper. Great wine suggestion and discussion of culture, language, and history. Did you know this building was originally an insurance company? Perhaps this explains the opulent surroundings. All those declined benefits....

Everything about this hotel is top notch. The rooms, the service, the people and the overall ambiance. The feel of the Poets Bar is an example - comfort, class and excellent bartended drinks. There are also the little things, like piano music, that sets it apart....
