There's a lot of competition in this part of Bucharest: three 4-star hotels almost on the same street. Hotel Unique is the best I've stayed at so far. Modern with USB charging points, an incredibly comfortable bed and even touch screen buttons for the bathroom lights. This hotel is 2 stars at BEST. The building and the area is very rundown and the pictures of the rooms on booking.com sell you dreams- the rooms dont look like that in person.
We landed and made it to the hotel for 3pm and were told that theres an issue with our room so we would have to wait 30 mins. I pointed out that check in is actually at 1pm so theyve already had 2 hours to fix whatever issue there was, kn...

Hi! when we got to the hotel, no parking place was available, although we agreed for one and when we were searching for a parking place on the street, I got a phone call from the receptionist saying that there was a problem with the room (he didn't say which problem) and we were sent to another hotel with parking place. Absolutely beautiful hotel, very central about 20 mins walk into Oldtown. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was ample. Although in saying all that I would say 3 star status. Please do not use taxis we had bad experiences so use uber, that is the only bad thing I could say about Bucharest stay away from yellow taxis!!! ...

Staff are very friendly, the rooms were really nice and the hotel was in a good location. The breakfast was good too. The reception staff are willing to go above and beyond to help out with any info that you require. Would definitely visit again!...
