We had an excellent stay at Grand Central. On check in we had an early start the next morning (bran castle), we were provided with a breakfast bag which had loads in it and actually did us throughout the day.
The room was great size, comfy bed and no issues. Breakfast in morning was delicious no complaints. We used the sauna once the sauna and steam room were roasting. The pool was FROZEN so don't expect a warm swim....

I am writing this review right now 9th November 2024 @21:42. I stayed at this 5* hotel to have all the conditions for a quiet and pleasant weekend. Unfortunately, what I received is below any critical and irreplaceable. Right now I'm in my hotel room and I can't relax because someone has rented the event room on the 21st floor and they have to blast the music to the max because there's an event there. We piss on ...

I would like to say that for the money you are paying is not worthy. Do not expect that the facility of the spa to be as you think it is. When we went to use it , the sauna was turned off and it took so long to get it ready and the pool was freezing cold plus the temperature of the sitting area was same , you couldn't stay without bathrobe . The hotel itself was lovely, staff were very polite, helpful & friendly, location perfect,room & view perfect but massive disappointment was the pool & spa.
I literally booked this place because of the pool & spa photos on the website.
Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was out of order & the pool freezing cold so we didn't use it in the end.
More milk portions would be welcomed.

Currently still here. So far fusty smell in hotel and room..AC is broken they say it ll be back tonight I hope so as it's meant to be 30 c today. Previous reviews report dodgy AC . Fridge is not working. Dark and grim rooms. Went down for breakfast and charged 26 euro or 130 lei for buffet.5 star restaurants in Ireland or England don't charge that...got my pastries went for coffee , came back and table cleared. what ...
