The hotel has a warm friendly atmosphere . The staff are welcoming and professional. The room itself is compact , comfortable and well equipped. I was in Brussels for five days. I spent four days in the hotel. It was a nightmare for me. The hotel does not have any services such as a laundromat or a coffee shop. The rooms are very old, the elevator is very dangerous, and the room cleaning services are very poor. The carpet smells very bad, and if you open the window, insects enter the room. Extremely disappointed on our 3rd anniversary
We decided to spend our Easter Weekend in Belgium an so, to spend our first night to a 4star hotel.
We found new hotel charlemagne, unfortunately rated too high for what they offered, or at least to us.
When we arrived we were told there was no parking (although we specifically looked for that before booking and hence thats why we chose that hotel).

Unfriendly service. We had problems with the reservation and they did not help us or give us any advice. Their only response was it is not our problem. Finally, we got a room, but have to pay more than 30% of the price it was shown in the webpage....
