Let's just say that I was initially excited to stay at what I believed to be a Grand Hotel. ( I did Actually find a great hotel that I'll refer to at the end). So back to this review... Room at tram track

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have been satisfied (thats why I came back).
To my shock this time they gave me a room right at the tram track. See photo. I would upload a video also but it doesnt seem to be possible.
Trams run frequently, are very noisy and shake the room.
And they wouldnt give me another room. The cleaning staff had left, was the reason. So, no sleep in this room.

The hotel is nice with large rooms. Nicely laid out and perhaps one day it may achieve the standard it is aiming for.
IF you have breakfast get ready for the hot food being cold and the cold food being tepid. Scrambled eggs, mushrooms etc are in a pan that should be hot or at least warm. The food only has its own heat to stay warm. They run a VERY lean staff so only one person handling breakfast.

Wonderful stay next to Metro station. Had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Montgomery. First of all was fortunate to get reservations for the penthouse which offers a spectacular view from 8th floor roof top. At the hotel, check in was smooth extremely friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located in a beautiful area of Brussels.
The rooms are comfortable, we have asked for a large room, and it was on the 7th floor with a nice view. The beds and the pillows are fine and the hotel is very clean.
The staff at the reception is very polite and the do their best.
On the other side, there must be a Manager .... somewhere... but nowhere to find!!!
