THE WRIGHT HOTEL IN THE RIGHT PLACE

A VALUE FOR MONEY HOTEL, IN A CALM AREA NEXT TO THE TRAIN STATION AND VERY NEAR THE CENTRE OF BOLOGNA. SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE POLITE AND JOYFUL LADIES WHO SERVE THE (VERY GOOD) BREAKFAST!
INTERESTING THING: THE HOTEL MUST HAVE THE BIGGEST COLLECTION IN THE WORLD OF ANY KIND OF WOODEN ROOSTERS....

While the hotel was outside Central Bologna, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! First, the owner stayed up late (1 AM) to check me in because my plane was delayed many hours. I very much appreciated this. The room was lovely, and the breakfast was great! Also, an amazing Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant is next door, Trattoria di Via Serra. Central Bologna is accessible through public transportation (bus) or walking....

What an excellent quirky hotel . had a great time here. staff were so polite and helpful. about 10 minute walk from the train station and a further 5 to the centre. Loved the breakfast in the chicken room. room was decent size with a great bathroom. communal veranda which was lovely in the evening ...

Great location with character

We like our three day stay.
The location was hard to beat, it's on the airport monorail side of the station, only a 200m walk.
There is a plaque above the entrance, the place has an interesting history.
Neptunes statue (Bologna centre) is a 15 min walk.
The decor is whacky, we loved it!
Our room was smallish but adequate, comfy four poster bed, bath and a shower.
The bath had a jaccuzi function.

Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the station. It is charming and quirky. Staff on reception are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with everything you could want - cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, juice, coffees.
The rooms are small but thats fine. The bathroom was good with an excellent shower and soft towels. But the air con in the room was noisy, intermittent and didnt keep the...
