Although only there for one night, it was a fantastic night. Luxury hotel right beside the Guggenheim museum and easily walking distance for lots of sights.
Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms are fantastic. Didn't have any food there so cannot comment on that but a very luxury hotel...

Underwhelming hotel in an underwhelming city.
Perhaps the main photo on the hotels website showing a gorgeous view of the Guggenheim Museum raised my expectations. Beware that the Guggenheim view room or Guggenheim view premier room would be more accurately described as the Guggenheim FACING room ie they face the Guggenheim Museum across the street, rather than Guggenheim VIEW room. This is about the Gallery Bistro in the Grand Hotel of Arte in Bilbao. This restaurant is excellent in all respects. The service, the food and the wine list. In particular the hamburger is one of the top two I have ever had. We were staying nearby and went back to the Gallery Bistro several times for dinner. If ever in Bilbao again we will return to the Gallery....

Magnificent Hotel in a world class location overlooking the Guggenheim. Recently renovated, the rooms were excellent, and the Lobby excellent. Service was impeccable. The roof top breakfast (and Bar) area overlooking the Guggenheim is amazing and worth the trip on its own. Breakfast Buffeet was lovely. $100 hotel credit through American Express was very handy....

The hotel is in an excellent area of Bilbao right across the street from the Guggenheim. The river is only a block away offering walking paths in a beautiful quiet neighborhood along the river. Our room was a bit dark because we had an interior room, which looks out into a large open space all the way to the roof of the hotel, with an amazing art piece of rocks inside a mesh structure that goes all the way up, but no...
