I was so excited for my birthday trip to Bilbao and had spent £400 to stay for 3 nights at NYX Bilbao. However, that excitement quickly turned into huge disappointment as I realised that I had been well and truly catfished by the hotel room.

Nice place to stay in Bilbao

Nice hotel. helpful staff, good location. a little bit noisy as it is right on the main street.
close to Apando station (if you travel to Madirid). It is a reasonable walking distance to museums, funiculars, and shopping streets. full of bars and restaurants and tapas bars 1 minute away from the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel recently, and while there were some positives, there were also a few issues that affected the overall experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had nice decor, but there were some inconsistencies in the service. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in even Basil Fawlty would be embarrassed. the bar staff are nothing but rude and violet. they refuse to serve guests after 10.45 and offer to fight anyone who objects to this decision. You should avoid this hotel at all costs. There are many better ones in Bilbao....

Loved this hotel in its beautiful location, as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Paula at the reception, and given good information for our stay, the restaurant was beautiful and food delicious, all the staff at the hotel were so helpful and really pleasant, definitely we would love to go back!...
