I've written many reviews about RIU Berlin and it is always a pleasure to come back. Spent 10 nights over Christmas and New Year, rooms are comfortable and clean, spacious even for a standard room, nice shower/bathroom, cleaning team do an excellent job each day. Check if scaffolding in place if considering this hotel.

Very disappointed. When we arrived we went to our room. Immediately on entering the view from the window was scaffolding! Apparently work is ongoing however we were not informed of this. We asked to change rooms and were told all the rooms have scaffolding obscuring the view. The housekeeping team cleaned the room each day however they did not replace tea, coffee, etc. We were awoken by the morning light filtering in...

The hotel was modern and comfortable. The desk staff as well as the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The only opportunity for improvement would be the pillow on the bed. We had to ask for a more pillows since they were flat. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again.....

Excellent stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff go out of their way to help in every way, from checking in to checking out.
Housekeeping is excellent and the restaurant is very well stocked with lots of choices for an all day breakfast. Bar is very welcoming and is available for hot snacks etc which is great after a day out and you just want something lighter than a full meal.
