My boyfriend and I have been in this hotel about 5 or 6 times. As hotel is lovely. Great location, good rooms, nice rooftop with a pool etc.
The big downside is the admin
While you see that you will be charge 2 days prior arrival they preauthorise your card whenever they feel like it without prior notice. Which cause issues as you are not expecting this on a random day.
They are too worried about scams at their side...

Waited 15 minutes to check in as only 1 staff member on duty at 1930hrs. Check in ok , informed I had been upgraded from a premium room to a premium plus type room. The premium room I had selected was at the back of the hotel so quiet. On their pre stay email I requested a quiet room.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic and convenient location. The room was comfortable and very well equipped. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival and were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast is decent enough, but there are some wonderful places within a few minutes walk so if it doesn't do it for you there are plenty of options.

Nice and relaxed hotel in the heart of Eixample. Nice roof pool. The service is very good and the staff is very friendly, especially Manuel, the barista, who does a tremendous job.
The rooms are modern and have good facilities. Overall a good experience in Barcelona....
