Basic hotel in great location

This is my Third or fourth visit to this hotel and is my hotel of choice when it is available as i visit quite a bit to watch fcb play.
It is a basic one star hotel so if you want or expect more then do not bother coming here.
The location is fantastic and is right on La Ramblas so all bars and restaurants are on your door step as well as all public transport and the nearest metro station is Liceu.

Great location, perfect for a few days stay. Hotel was very basic, but clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were given a complimentary breakfast in the quirky cellar bar/restaurant. Overall a nice experience . Deserves more than 1 star....

Brilliant location , fantastic staff who give the best advice on tours, directions etc. Rooms cleaned every day and inside, outsides exceptionally clean. All the negative feedback is ridiculous, knowing, when you book a 1 star this is what you get, however I would grade this hotel more than a 1 * If its the ritz yous are looking for then go book that !!! well done to each and everyone of the staff. Keep doing ...

The hotel is ideally situated just off la Ramblas but would not stay again.
The room was very small. The only toiletries was a sachet of shampoo not even soap to wash your hands. The shower was over the bath and we couldnt get it to work. You could not have a bath as there was no plug. The lift is very dangerous as the door opens outwards on to the staircase. You have to be very careful when opening the door as you ...

I was forced by the system to give this a 1 star but didnt want to give it any. The place is terrible. Good location is all it has going for it. It should be classed as a student hostel. It definitely isnt clean and the breakfast is a joke. Couldnt even get in the shower because it was disgusting. Beds had rusty frames and mine seemed to be held together with chipboard.
