This is a street full of life. It comes alive in the morning as runners and those wanting to stay fit run up and down the wide pavements in the centre of the road and then is full of tourists for the rest o fthe day and then eateries open up at the southern end towards late afternoon for evening dinner.

We enjoyed walking up and down Las Ramblas. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment (including the Boqueria market). Very crowded and action-packed! Nicely decorated for Christmas....

A much talked about street in Barcelona for shopping. We are basically not shoppers but fun to see the architecture of different buildings. It is a raised street and as a result appear to have better views? This is the street where you have to be very careful with your belongings although there is a police presence....
