Worst Hotel EVER
This hotel was booked for us from a third party as our previous accommodations had to cancel 4 days before our arrival to Spain, we were traveling at the time. From the web site the hotel looked beautiful we were pleased. $600.00 per night was steep but because we were in a time crunch we agreed to stay at this hotel. Our thoughts surely changed quickly. Unfortunately our room quality was very poor. The headboard of the bed was falling apart, and there were flakes of the headboard all over the sheets. There was a hole in the floor which we kept tripping over. The top bunk bed had no rail, so it is not safe for a child to sleep in. The floor was very unclean and the hotel was very outdated. Best thing: the people at the reception were amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel is a bit run down, I expected more from a 4 star hotel. I had a beer in the room and the dirty glass was never removed, despite of the room being cleaned every day. Damaged furniture and walls. Didnt feel luxurious....

The staff was extraordinary kind and accommodating right from the start. We made it to the hotel a few hours before we could officially check in, and in the meantime, they helped us find things to do, held our luggage and even stayed and helped us get directions to everything we had planned. We were always treated well whenever we had questions, and there were no issues at all....

I had many changes in my booking due to work emergencies and the staff has been amazing: thanks specially to the housekeeper and to Iris and Paco. The hotel is truly a hidden gem in the best location for history and architecture lovers, as well as shoppers and foodies. I am not going back to Barcelona, I am going back to Petite Palace La Boqueria 🫶 and to the cocktails in the private patio !...
