Let me begin with the NH Barcelona Diagonal property it was by far the nicest experience I've had in recent visits to Europe. The staff, particularly Ms Irene, were exceptional, and it made all the difference in my trip

The hotel is placed at an excellent location. It us 10 min walk from 3 different metro stations. However there are no coffee shops around. Ammenities in the toilet are to some level out of date. Room temperature is too high...

Terrible - water leaks, non-working AC, but decent breakfast

The rooms had minimal sound proofing. You could hear everything that was happening in the calls. You could even hear the doors closing down the hall. In the floors above, if something was scraping across the floor, you could hear it. If a bed was squeaking, you could hear it.

Late checkout and excellent breakfast for a smooth depart

The hotel is great, my room was huge, clean and fresh. The 2 highlights of this beautiful hotel are the early check-in and late checkout + the excellent breakfast. It was a regenerating stay, just a pity it was only for one night. I'll definitely book again next time I am in Barcelona....
