My wife and I recently stayed at the H10 Metropolitan which is situated on Rambla Catalunya.A 5 minute walk to La Rambla.We always stay at H10 Universitat which is around the corner from the H10 Metropolitan.An excellent choice.Although not 5 star but a 4star plus.
The staff are superb and a great breakfast.The rooms are excellent and we had a room with a balcony facing the street.My thanks to Sylvia at the reception...

We had a fabulous stay. The location is perfect, with the aerobus stop five minute walk from the hotel (making the airport journey cheap and easy) and being able to walk easily from the hotel to local attractions and restaurants without the need for public transport. The staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a drink at the bar in the evenings before heading out with the bar staff being attentiv...

Very nice hotel. Great location in central Barcelona. Staff are excellent, rooms very nice. Fantastic patio and pool area. Restaurant very nice as well. Stayed for two nights and enjoyed the hotel and the area. Bonus that there is a Starbucks directly across the street !!...

Lovely hotel by Plaza Catalunya

Since I was working in the neighbourhood, I looked for a hotel not too big, not too expensive, with a swimming pool and found this H10. Check-in was very smooth. I was given a nice room with a balcony on the quiet side of the building (i.e. not giving on the busy street). Good bed, well appointed bathroom, and a Nespresso machine. Just great.
There are a couple of (small) swimming pool in the hotel.
