We stayed for 2 nights - one prior to taking a cruise and again for 1 night at the end. Our welcome to the hotel was excellent on both occasions and Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. In our return visit we were allowed to check in to the room at 10am which was amazing and so unexpected! Bedroom was awful. Just a bed. No table or chairs. Nowhere to work or read other than 2 friends on a smallish bed with zero back support. When I asked the sulky receptionist why the bedroom had no chairs at all she looked as if I was being unreasonable. Its only a basic room, she said, ie just a bed. We stayed for 2 nights before boarding our cruise. The staff were great and really welcoming. The hotel was clean and our room was really comfortable. Its a 5 minute walk from Sants Station which we used for the metro to get about the city. Lovely pool terrace and bar and the breakfast was nice, a fair variety of food of decent quality. Great overnight pre-cruise stay. A lovely touch to offer a welcoming drink of Prosecco or Orange Juice after checking in. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was extra large and very comfortable. Lots of extras in bathroom, toothbrushes, combs, shaving kits etc....
