Good hotel with poor breakfast

Hotel was good, in a good location friendly staff and clean rooms, but breakfast was not good, they do not have many choices and not tasty made! Even the eggs didn't cook well, for breakfast I would rate 1 star.
I would be back only when they have better breakfast...

We arrived in Barcelona on July 27, where we had a room booked for 5 days (July 27 to August 1). Upon arrival we found out that the room (and everything in it) is extremely small and barely suitable for 2 adult travelers with baggage. Wonderful. A very small, quaint, clean, very european hotel in the heart if the gothic quarter. We were there for 2 nights in late august 2024. The rooms are small but more than sufficient. There is a 24 hr concierge who booked our cabs for us. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel. No electricity and unwanted room service

Lights in room did not work, along with the TV and coffee maker. They performed room service without letting me know, and threw away some things I did not want thrown out. No electricity in half the room. would not stay here again, is located in a not so great alley....

The hotel Denit is located very conveniently near Plaza Catalunya. It is down a narrow sidestreet that may or may not be accessible for taxis. I never tried to get a taxi to go down there. We walked to sites in the old part of the city. The staff are terrific. Joan helped me make a train reservation that seemed impossible--the train website and train phone were difficult to maneuver.
