Location Location Location. In the historic area, close to the metro. Easy accessibility to everything you want to do and see in Barcelona. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Lots of eating options nearby. But bring your own coffee supply....

Very nice hotel near Placa de Catalyuna

Very high marks for Hotel Catalonia Portal de l'Angel! The staff was very helpful and accommodating - storing luggage, securing cabs, providing additional towels. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast buffet was superb - food was fresh and bountiful. Excellent conversion of a classic building into a very nice hotel. The pool is smaller than shown in pictures....

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite and clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, Harbor. Lovely courtyard outside to enjoy a glass of sangria....

Central Location & Great Rooms

Great location, small but unique hotel with great service at the front desk and a great breakfast. Located in a pedestrian mall some shopping at your front door. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the mall so it was great to watch the world go by while having a cold one....

This hotel is on Avda. del Portal de l'Àngel, which is a pedestrian street in the Gothic quarter. It's very convenient in that it's a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral of Barcelona or the Plaça de Catalunya, and about 5 minutes to La Rambla.
