Superb hotel with a brilliant location close to all main areas. The deluxe room with private pool is worth the extra to relax in at any time of the day. Staff were helpful with any queries. Absolutely no noise with the balcony door shut despite passing traffic and people. Complimentary bottle of fizz was a nice touch too!
Also, make sure to go to Luigis restaurant about 100m down the road, lovely food and very reas...

I am writing this review because I am spending my last night at the Hotel.
I was a bit skeptical when I chose this Hotel over other options. Still, to my surprise, the Hotel Catalonia Eixample 1864 was the best option for me as a solo female traveler.

We booked a room through Priceline in February 2024 for a two night stay in October. The room we paid for had a balcony and private hot tub. After a 15 hour flight and cab ride we get to our hotel room to find no such accomodations! The front desk tells us they have had problems with Priceline undercutting room prices and that the hotel does not offer the room we paid for at this price. They refused any type of a...

The room was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and caring. The staff spoke English which made it easy for use to communicate. The location was good and we found it easy to walk to some attractions or to get on public transportation. Highly recommend this place when you visit Barcelona. ...

Overall we enjoyed the hotel, it's in a great location. We stayed for a special occasion and had a fantastic time in Barcelona.
