Hotel Balmes is a lovely hotel, quite central but in such a huge city Bolt is always on hand and not expensive. Hotel Balmes is Exceptionally clean, rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day. Staff made this hotel even more enjoyable. So friendly and helpful, especially Marius, Marc, Edgar, Roza, Marta and Antoni, and not forgetting all the lovely ladies at breakfast time who were all lovely and helpful too. Cannot re...

Bunch of little things that individually aren't deal breakers but together makes one question the 4* rating
Bedrests are cracked / flaking off
Single room was not great: probably the cheapest Ikea bed. Air conditioner was noisy. Room had a tiny window that faced into a wall.
