We stayed in this hotel during our visit to Barcelona and Montserrat. Fira Congress Hotel is located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in the Metropolitan area of Barcelona. The area seems to be an industrial zone as there are low-rise buildings marked Porsche, BMW, Mini, Kawasaki, Jansen, etc.
The hotel seems to cater to business travelers as there are meeting rooms and function rooms.
But we are not business traveler...

Convenient hotel choice due to being near to the airport. The area was extremely quite and felt very derelict, but this could just purely be due to the time of season. Good spacious and clean room and bathroom. However, the hallway carpet was full of stains, and the doors looked over worn, the halls need a good remodel to be honest. A clean and well maintained hotel. The staff was very efficient in spite of the large number of residents. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. For the first time in Portugal and Spain, we found a coffee maker with ingredients in the room. The check in process was smooth and quick. The buffet breakfast was abundant and tasty. Overall a good stay....

Unfortunately swimming pool facility was not available however the room was nice, clean and morden. We absolutely liked the open plan walk in shower. Bed was comfortable. Easy access to local metro, buses and local shops. Not far from central of Barcelona. We would be back again....

Disappointing for a hotel of this standard

I missed breakfast by only 30 minutes due to a health issue the night before. Unfortunately, the hotel staff were unwilling to find a solution, despite the fact that we paid 50 euros for breakfast for two people. Their only offer was a simple coffee, which I already had in my room. Additionally, there was no duvet in the room, and it was difficult to get one even after we requested it.
