The staff was great, I booked directly on there web page. I got an early check in since the employee saw our face tired arriving from Marrakech. morroco. Even though that they where cleaning a room I requested with street view. The employee got me another room that was ready. But at that point I did not care about the view and wanted to shower and sleep. Thanks to the employee who put himself on my shoes and helped ...

I stayed in the Ako Suite at the beginning of October. This was my third time there. My experience as usual was excellent. The rooms were clean and modern and the kitchenette was perfect for small meals and coffees. I have found the staff very pleasant and helpful and there always seems to be someone cleaning.
Another positive is the pool which was a calm place to relax after work. I highly recommend this hote...

Perfect location, safe, easy walk to the attractions in Eixample and to the old city. University metro is close.
Aldi store is around the corner.
The room was quiet. It depends on the neighbors, but we had no issues.
The bed is great if you like firm mattress.
The kitchen area is very small and minimally equipped.

Three star hotels did not work the first night and pool is small not a good view from our room. Make sure you take a electric outlet adaptor for any electronics you need. There is a cell phone shop right next to the front door that sells them. Great location many grocery stores nearby Aldi across the street. The staff were great....

The mystery employee referred to as the rude receptionist, Jemma, in previous reviews, is understated.
With over 10 years in the travel industry and having traveled halfway across the world, I have never encountered such an inappropriate, unprofessional, and arrogant hotel receptionist.
